What is RLC?

The RLC token is an ERC-20 utility token that allows users in the iExecRLC ecosystem to trade and use cloud resources. iExecRLC is a blockchain-based project that promises to give developers and projects more secure and flexible access to cloud computing resources. The iExec Marketplace is a global open market where cloud computing resources can be traded. Projects can buy computer resources to run programs off-chain, bypassing their blockchain infrastructure's scaling limitations. IExecRLC supports a dApp marketplace for all decentralised applications built on the iExecRLC platform and CLI and JS libraries for easy integration. In exchange for the RLC tokens, users can utilise the iExec network to rent data, servers, and applications.
