What is MLN?

Enzyme Finance (MLN), previously named Melon Protocol, allows token holders to invest, manage and create entirely customised cryptocurrency asset management vehicles, granting users the right to efficiently maintain their cryptocurrencies. Enzyme Finance acts as an online smart vault which allows users to transact and store funds through an online platform. Any user is given the ability to create, or join another user's fund and set conditions such as deposits, denominating assets, fees and redemptions. The Enzyme network operates on the Ethereum blockchain. Due to the design of the protocol, the fees for usage of the Ethereum network can be paid in either MLN or ETH. The core focus of Enzyme Finance is to decentralise traditional asset management, an industry that has been historically dominated by professional financial institutions and advisors. Enzyme Finance believes that the MLN token has the ability and potential to lower the barriers to entry for asset management, removing minimum investment sizes and large management fees.
