What is RSR?
RSR is the native token of the Reserve Rights network, it is one of two tokens on the Reserve Rights platform. Launched in May 2019, the platform aims to bring a stablecoin offering to parts of the world with unstable currencies to give their economies the tools necessary to create a more stable and productive economy. The stablecoin RSV is currently pegged to the US dollar with plans to move towards a more diverse group of stable assets to remove its concentration risk to the American economy. The RSR token is a governance token which is more volatile than the RSV, which also serves a dual purpose of helping to maintain RSV’s stability. The project has an impressive team and group of backers. The team consists of managers who have previously created successful startups and a CTO with previous experience at Google and Quixey. One of the most notable backers of the project is the Founder’s Fund, Peter Thiel’s (Co-Founder of Paypal) venture capital fund in Silicon Valley which is one the most respected venture capital groups in the world.
