What is RNDR?

Render is a decentralised distributor of graphics processing unit (GPU) rendering technology on the blockchain. The Render protocol aims to connect those looking for additional resources to help render images and videos with those who are willing to rent out their idle GPUs to fulfil this purpose. These GPU owners are known as creators and creators earn Render token (RNDR) for their services. RNDR token is also used to rent the creators’ GPU rendering technology. A mechanism called “proof of render” is used to ensure the successful completion of the render before payment is processed.
