e-Radix (EXRD) is a wrapped token on the Ethereum network that represents Radix's native token, XRD. It enables a 1:1 exchangeable link between the Radix and Ethereum ecosystems. This wrapping allows Radix’s XRD tokens to participate in Ethereum’s DeFi applications and maintains liquidity across ecosystems.

e-Radix operates by allowing Radix's native token, XRD, to be converted into an ERC20 token (EXRD) on the Ethereum blockchain. This conversion offers compatibility with Ethereum-based applications. e-Radix uses smart contracts and a secure third-party custodian to facilitate seamless swaps back and forth between EXRD on the Ethereum blockchain and XRD on Radix's native network at a ratio of 1:1.

The EXRD token was launched in 2020 as a means to interface with the Ethereum network, following key network developments and securing partnerships.
