What is CFX?

Conflux is a layer 1 blockchain that claims to offer the only China-based a regulatory compliant, public and permissionless blockchain. Conflux uses a unique Tree-Graph consensus algorithm in combination with a Proof of Work (PoW) consensus mechanism to facilitate a high throughput and high security blockchain. In addition, Conflux supports staking for decentralised applications (DApps) built on its blockchain, providing DApp users with staking rewards to incentive greater participation. The native token of the Conflux blockchain, CFX, serves as a unit of value on the platform that is used to pay transaction fees, staking rewards, rent space on the Conflux Blockchain and used to participate in governance votes.
